Listening for Life Centre Bradford

Built in the grounds of Bradford Royal Infirmary, the Listening for Life Centre was funded by The Ear Trust – a charitable organisation founded by one of the world’s leading Cochlear Implant pioneers, Chris Raine.

The Centre, now part of a network of 18 centres worldwide, is the UK hub for collaboration and research in cochlear implantation. The Centre is also active in raising public awareness of deafness, and educating professionals in the field of Audiology.

Within this ‘Centre for Excellence’, Allaway Acoustics have provided a suite of five Audiology Test Rooms which accommodates both Adult and Paediatric Audiology Testing and uses the latest equipment to improve the diagnosis, rehabilitation and education of its implant patients; including a facility dedicated to the newly developed assessment technology ‘Crescent of Sound’.
